Super Bowl champion Tory Horton returns home to alma mater Washington Union
After riding through Seattle in the Super Bowl parade on Wednesday, Tory Horton back in the Valley and celebrated at Washington Union High School Thursday afternoon.
"I'm blessed and lucky to be on a great team and it's a blessing to get [a Super Bowl title] my rookie year," Horton told Action News. "I'm hungry for more and I know my teammates are too, so I'm excited."

A shin injury kept Horton from playing in Super Bowl LX but he was a big contributor when he was on the field.
In his eight games, the rookie wide receiver pulled in five touchdowns and returned another on punt return.
"You dream as a kid to always go to the Super Bowl and even if you're not playing you still want to be in that atmosphere," Horton said.
A 2020 graduate from Washington Union, Horton started his high school career at Edison before turning to the Panthers for his senior campaign.
"A lot of guys tend to take off and never come back. I wanted to be the guy to look back and remember where I came from."
As the 166th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Horton spoke to today's Panthers about his journey to football's biggest stage.
"From a town like this, it's still possible to go out there and chase your dreams," Horton said. "I just wanted to come back after the Super Bowl and make sure I pay my tribute to where I started."
Horton is not the only one to win professional hardware for Washington Union.
Former Bulldog and fellow Panther alum Ron Cox won Super Bowl XXXI with the Chicago Bears.
Track and field athlete Maxie Parks won an Olympic gold medal in the 1969 Summer Olympics. And former NBA first-round pick DeShawn Stevenson was a part of the 2011 championship-winning Dallas Mavericks.
