Tennessee Titans draft OL Jackson Slater: Fans react on social media
The Tennessee Titans are making an effort on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL draft to address multiple levels of their offense. After using the fourth round to add weapons, they turned to the offensive line in the fifth round.
They were back on the clock with pick No. 167 and continued to build the offense by selecting Sacramento State interior offensive lineman Jackson Slater.
Slater is an experienced guard but projects as center-capable in the NFL and has the tools to develop into a solid lineman in the league.
Here is how people on social media reacted to the selection.

"You see the speed and quickness show up on film when Sacramento State pulled him and he hit the end man at the line of scrimmage like those Giant Bullets in Super Mario Bros." - @StoneyKeeley on new #Titans iOL Jackson Slater https://t.co/xG7rR3Nsmd— Zach Lyons (@TheZachLyons) April 26, 2025
The #Titans value an OG from Sacramento St more than Cam Ward’s #1 WR in Xavier Restrepo who helped him break records.
You wonder why they suffer from WR syndrome? This is why. You literally can sign what they drafted off the streets for cheap.— Nick (@FloridaManDad) April 26, 2025
Another really intriguing value pick for the #Titans I preferred Miles Frazier (but clearly there’s some underlying issues causing that fall)
Slater is going to be SO much fun with Bill Callahan. He’s going to excel in the Titans’ gap scheme https://t.co/rdSKRIrz8A— Drew Beatty (@IronCityFilm) April 26, 2025
