Texans add 15 players to 2025 practice squad following roster cutdowns
The Houston Texans are done making moves.
Well, at least they are until next week ahead of Sunday's Week 1 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Texans cut down their roster to 53 players ahead of the NFL's deadline on Tuesday, and added 16 players for their practice squad on Wednesday afternoon. Fifteen of the players were among those cut on Tuesday afternoon, while the last name was a former player who was waived earlier this offseason in favor of a healthy body in camp.
Here's a look at the practice squad below: Damon Arnette CB 6-0 195 28 3 Ohio State Trent Brown OT 6-8 380 32 11 Florida Harrison Bryant TE 6-5 243 27 6 Florida Atlantic Myles Bryant CB 5-9 192 27 6 Washington Solomon Byrd DE 6-3 250 25 1 USC Eli Cox C 6-4 309 24 R Kentucky Jakob Johnson FB 6-3 255 30 7 Tennessee Jawhar Jordan RB 5-10 185 26 1 Louisville Luke Lachey TE 6-6 247 24 R Iowa K.C. The Texans were also able to retain defensive Haggai Ndubuisi because he counts toward the NFL international player program. Houston still has room for at least two more practice squad players, though there's no promise they will use up all spots.
