Texas A&M offers elite 2027 4-star WR out of Los Angeles (CA)

Texas A&M's 2027 recruiting class is in its beginning stages. Still, after landing four-star quarterback Jayce Johnson last weekend, coach Mike Elko and his staff have been focused on getting their feet in the door with several elite prospects, especially at wide receiver.

Second-year WR coach Holmon Wiggins has already proven his recruiting prowess after helping land KC Concepcion and Mario Craver from the transfer portal, combined with 2026 commits Aaron Gregory, Madden Williams, and Mike Brown, who have all shut down their recruitment. While the Aggies are looking to add one more wide receiver to the 2026 haul, the focus has slowly shifted to 2027.

Last week, Texas A&M reportedly offered 2027 four-star wide receiver Quentin Hale out of Los Angeles, California, followed by an offer to four-star wideout Jaden Upshaw out of Lee County, Georgia, over the weekend. Hale, who, like Upshaw, will likely end up a five-star recruit after his 2025 junior season. However, he has already proven his elite ability on the field.

One of the more fluid route runners in the class, Hale's 6'3" frame and impressive body control have made him the go-to offensive playmaker for Cathedral High School, reeling in 1,205 yards and 15 touchdowns during his sophomore and junior campaigns, including a career high 995 yards and 14 scores last season.

So far, Texas A&M joins Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame as the programs to offer Hale this month, and they surely won't be the last.

According to 247Sports, Hale is currently positioned as the 58th-ranked prospect in the class, the 9th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the 6th-ranked prospect in California.
