Texas A&M will reportedly be the first visit for Alabama transfer WR
Texas A&M remains in the market for an experienced wide receiver to pair with Mario Craver and Ashton Bethel‑Roman for the 2026 season. Size is the priority, and with Cam Coleman still weighing his options, the Aggies are turning their attention to another SEC pass‑catcher who fits the profile.
On Friday night, CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported that former Alabama wideout Isaiah Horton is in the process of scheduling a visit to Aggieland. The trip would be his first since entering the transfer portal on Thursday, and he arrives as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 9 overall player available.
As Cameron Ohnysty of Aggies Wirenoted, Horton should be near the top of Mike Elko’s priority list. His frame and physicality would give the Aggies an immediate size boost on the perimeter and complement the rest of the wide receiver rotation—especially with Coleman’s recruitment still clouded in uncertainty.
Combined with returning starters Mario Craver and Ashton Bethel-Roman, Horton would provide starting quarterback Marcel Reed one of the better red zone targets in the SEC.
