Texas A&M's winning streak continues after defeating No. 2 Arkansas 7-4 on Thursday

Texas A&M (22-15, 7-9 SEC) has now won seven consecutive games, and is on the verge of a third consecutive SEC series win after defeating No. 2 Arkansas 7-4 behind another productive showing at the plate, while starting pitcher Ryan Prager was just good enough after allowing all of Arkansas's four runs in five innings.

In relief, sophomore Weston Moss continued his stellar season, keeping the Razorbacks scoreless while allowing just three hits and one walk and striking out six in five innings. This combination has resulted in two straight opening series wins, and coach Michael Earley now knows that in a pinch, Moss has become the most reliable arm in the bullpen.

Offensively, the Aggies took advantage of Arkansas pitcher Zach Root early, producing seven hits and six of their seven runs, but credit Dylan Carter for holding the visitors scoreless through three innings. Texas A&M's lineup has continued to churn out hits, as every batter outside of Terrence Kiel II, Bear Harrison, and Ben Royo recorded a hit. In contrast, Kaeden Kent, Jamal George, and Wyatt Hensler recorded multiple hits on the night.

Due to Weston Moss's impressive performance on the mound combined with the Aggie defense playing mistake-free late, Jace LaViolette's insurance home run in the top of the ninth sealed the deal for the visitors, who will return to Baum-Walker Stadium for Friday's doubleheader, slated to start at 2:00 p.m. CT.

Texas A&M now holds the longest winning streak in the SEC after Thursday's victory.
