The Longhorns achieved six top-quadrant wins and secured several impressive victories in the SEC. However, they finished their season poorly, losing five of their last six games, including an exit in the SEC tournament to Ole Miss, the team coached by their former head coach, Chris Beard. While their season may not fit the typical narrative of a tournament-worthy team, there are always Cinderella stories to be found.

The 2026 NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed Sunday evening on CBS, with Duke, Michigan, Arizona, and Florida earning No. 1 seeds. The First Four tips off Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17-18, in Dayton, Ohio, before the First Round gets underway March 19-20. The Second Round follows March 21-22, with the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight set for March 26-29.

The Final Four is slated for April 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, with tip times of 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET on TBS. The national championship game is Monday, April 6, at 8:30 p.m. ET, also in Indianapolis.
