The Brewers are promoting top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski to the big leagues

Jacob Misiorowski is coming to Milwaukee at last.

One of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball will be called up by the Brewers to start this week, sources told the Journal Sentinel on June 10. The news was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Brewers top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski, shown earlier in camp, gave up three straight walks and allowed two runs in his one inning of work in his spring debut Tuesday against the Guardians.

In 13 games and 12 starts with Class AAA Nashville this season, Misiorowski had a 2.13 earned run average with 80 strikeouts in 63⅓ innings. Misiorowski's command, always the biggest question around him, has been largely improved, as well, with 31 walks issued in that time.

Misiorowski also has touched 103 mph with his fastball.

Misiorowski is slated to pitch Thursday, June 12, against the St. Louis Cardinals, sources confirmed.
