These are some of the best social media reactions to Texas A&M's 44-22 win over Utah State
It was another slow start, but the Texas A&M offense looked electric once again, scoring over 30 points in the first half of their 44-22 win over Utah State at Kyle Field.
As a whole, the team looked better than they did last week, but they are far from a finished product, and the real test will come next week when they step on the field against Notre Dame. But if the duo of Mario Craver and KC Concepcion can continue their production against a top-tier opponent next week, it will make for a game-of-the-week type of matchup.
The Craver and Concepcion show was on display again, with them combining for 205 total yards and three touchdowns. Marcel Reed also took a small step forward with four total touchdowns before a minor injury took him out of the game. He could have returned, but being multiple scores up, it made more sense for him not to risk future injury with a big game next week.
The rushing attack was back on track with 235 yards for a 5.2 average and two touchdowns. On defense, they performed much better than last week as a team, but did have a few hiccups, with drive-extending penalties being an issue. That, along with missed tackles, is something that Coach Mike Elko is going to harp on this week. The pass rush from the starting rotation was excellent, with the Aggies recording six sacks and six QB hits.
Below are some of the reactions to the Aggie win over Utah State on Saturday afternoon.
A&M starts 2-0 for the second time since 2016
FINAL: Texas A&M 44, Utah State 22.
A&M improves to 2-0 for the second time since starting 6-0 in 2016. Great day for the offense, particularly their running game, KC Concepcion and Mario Craver. Decent day for the starting defense. We’ll see what Elko says about Reed, Zuhn.— Carter Karels (@CarterKarels) September 6, 2025

A&M got some good work in these first two weeks.
Lots of guys got to play.
I don’t have a strong enough feel either direction to change my preseason opinions on this team…yet…

A&M bounced back quickly after a slow start
Outside of the end of the game with the second and third stringers action, I think I came away pretty happy with what I saw today.
Started rough again, but they quickly adjusted. Just need to be more consistent as a whole.— Jaxson Callaway (AT) (@AggiesToday) September 6, 2025
The offense almost put up 560 yards on Saturday

The first team looked good and made a lot of big plays
Liked what I saw out of the first stringers. Still don't know what to think about that Notre Dame game next week, but it'll be a very good measuring stick.— Sidelines - Texas A&M (@SSN_TAMU) September 6, 2025
