Thunder rookie Brooks Barnhizer registers triple-double in G League
Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Brooks Barnhizer recorded a triple-double in the G League on Tuesday, helping the OKC Blue to a win over the Memphis Hustle.
Barnhizer produced 10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and one blocked shot in the 114-84 victory at the Paycom Center. He went 4-of-5 from the field in 30 minutes and was a plus-21 as the Blue improved to 4-4 to begin the season.
The 44th pick in the 2025 NBA draft is the first player to register a triple-double in the G League this season. He found success by penetrating the paint and either finishing at the rim or finding teammates for lobs or other easy looks.
