They need to make sure he’s not in a situation where he could aggravate the calf injury—or worse. He will have some type of trade value, and they’ve got to explore that. As for Kyrie Irving—it might be mutually beneficial for him just to take the whole year, focus on getting 100% healthy, and not help them win a few more games down the stretch.
