Top three free agent destinations for Tua Tagovailoa
With the NFL new league year approaching, the Miami Dolphins are moving on from their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. After an up-and-down tenure, he will be released at the beginning of the NFL’s new league year.
While there are major questions over Tagovailoa’s health, he can still play quarterback. The question is, will he get another chance to start?

There are multiple teams that could use his services. The trend here is going to be that Tagovailoa will get a chance to start–just not as a long-term option. In reality, he will either be brought in to compete with a young quarterback or as a backup.
The Packers could be a very good fit for Tagovailoa. Not only can he learn to play in cold weather, but he could also benefit from working with Matt LaFleur the way Malik Willis and Jordan Love have.

With Love missing time each of the last two seasons, Tagovailoa steps in as a primary backup with a chance to fill in. Plus, LaFleur could replicate his success and help Tagovailoa salvage his career. Atlanta Falcons
Michael Penix Jr. is a very talented passer. He is also very injury-prone. He suffered his third career torn ACL last year.
Tagovailoa could either compete with Penix or fill in while Penix recovers. Atlanta has a strong arsenal of weapons, and they are a dome team.

Tagovailoa will also have a chance to work with two-time NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski. Ironically, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is where Tua became a legend in his first extended action at Alabama. San Fransisco 49ers
Kyle Shanahan has worked with Sam Darnold and Mac Jones. One won a Super Bowl last year, and the other is a coveted trade piece now.
Could Shanahan ignite what is left in Tagovailoa? If he wants another opportunity at a long-term role, working with one of the best offensive minds is a great place to start.
Shanahan seems to have worked some magic with quarterbacks who weren’t shoo-in contributors. What’s stopping him from doing the same with Tagovailoa, other than… Tagovailoa himself?
