Trent McDuffie got his deal.

After landing in Los Angeles in a massive trade with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this week, the Rams reached a four-year, $124 million extension with McDuffie on Sunday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The deal will make McDuffie the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history at $31 million a season, slightly more than the $30.1 million that Sauce Gardner receives from the Indianapolis Colts. McDuffie will receive $100 million guaranteed, too.

The Rams sent the Chiefs four draft picks in exchange for McDuffie on Wednesday, including a first-round pick in the draft later this year. McDuffie had 63 total tackles, one sack and an interception in 13 games last season. His campaign was shut down early due to a knee injury.
