Tuesday Headlines: Michigan State Gameday

Good morning, BBN!

It’s gameday! Kentucky basketball takes on Michigan State in the Champions Classic at 6:30 PM ET at Madison Square Garden in New York City. You can watch the game on ESPN.

Despite how early in the season it is, a lot of BBN has thrown the term “must-win” around for tonight’s game.

While I don’t agree, you certainly can’t lose to Louisville the way the Cats did last week and have a similar performance tonight against the Spartans.

The pressure is on, and the lights couldn’t be brighter in the Big Apple.

I expect this game to look somewhat similar to the Georgetown exhibition. Michigan State is a physical team, and the Cats will have to match it to have a chance.

It doesn’t look like Lowe will be playing, so Kentucky really needs guys like Aberdeen and Johnson to step up.

What do you think, will Kentucky redeem their Louisville loss with a primetime victory over MSU?
