Broadcast and streaming info
UFC 317 has a main card that starts at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view via ESPN+. The preliminary card airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET, and early prelims stream on ESPN+ at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Longtime UFC correspondent Heidi Androl will conduct pre and post-fight interviews backstage with some of the athletes on the UFC 317 card, as well as report additional real-time updates for the event.
Dan Hellie will host the official UFC 317 weigh-in show on Friday at 11:50 a.m. ET/9:50 a.m. PT. He'll be joined by UFC Hall of Famers Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping, as well as Laura Sanko.

Main event: Ilia Topuria
- Record: 16-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC
- Opponent: Charles Oliveira (35-10 MMA, 23-10 UFC)
- Division: Lightweight
- Key wins: Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanovski, Josh Emmett, Bryce Mitchell
- Misc.: Topuria’s rise to the featherweight title was swift, and after just one defense he is headed to lightweight to go after a title in a second division. He just doesn’t get to have two at the same time. The Spaniard is unbeaten and quickly has become a global rising star.
Main event: Charles Oliveira
- Record: 35-10 MMA, 23-10 UFC
- Opponent: Ilia Topuria (16-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC)
- Division: Lightweight
- Key wins: Michael Chandler (twice), Beneil Dariush, Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier
- Misc.: Oliveira has been in the UFC for 15 years, so there is little that he hasn’t seen. He’s been to the mountaintop before as lightweight champion, but was stripped before his title defense against Justin Gaethje when he missed weight. He won, but wasn’t able to beat Islam Makhachev going after it again.
Co-main event: Alexandre Pantoja
- Record: 29-5 MMA, 13-3 UFC
- Opponent: Kai Kara-France (25-11 MMA, 8-4 UFC)
- Division: Flyweight
- Key wins: Kai Asakura, Steve Erceg, Brandon Royval (twice), Brandon Moreno, Alex Perez, Manel Kape
- Misc.: Pantoja won the flyweight title two years ago and has put together three straight defenses. This past December, he got back to finishing opponents when he tapped Asakura in the second round. He fought Kara-France on Season 24 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and beat him – though it is considered an exhibition fight.
Co-main event: Kai Kara-France
- Record: 25-11 MMA, 8-4 UFC
- Opponent: Alexandre Pantoja (29-5 MMA, 13-3 UFC)
- Division: Flyweight
- Key wins: Steve Erceg, Askar Askarov, Cody Garbrandt
- Misc.: Kara-France lost an interim flyweight title fight against Brandon Moreno three years ago, then had a disappointing split decision loss a year after that. But in August 2024, he put ex-title challenger Erceg’s lights out and now finds himself back in reach of a belt.
UFC debut: Jackson McVey
- Record: 6-0
- Opponent: Sedriques Dumas (10-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC)
- Division: Middleweight
- Misc.: McVey has been training with UFC-level fighters near St. Louis to start his career, and it’s been perfect so far with six first-round finishes. He’ll enter his short-notice UFC debut against Dumas as a slight betting favorite hoping to send a message.
UFC debut: Alvin Hines
- Record: 7-0
- Opponent: Jhonata Diniz (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC)
- Division: Heavyweight
- Misc.: The 33-year-old Hines has been taking heavyweights out for the LFA with regularity the past 18 months. Now he gets a shot at the big time. Six of his seven wins are by finish with a level mix of knockouts and submissions.
