Unfortunate Justin Fields News Has Fans All Saying the Same Thing About the Jets

The New York Jets suffered a concerning blow on Thursday morning when reports emerged from training camp that newly signed quarterback Justin Fields was carted off the practice field with an apparent leg injury. Later, head coach Aaron Glenn clarified that the injury was to Fields’ toe
Fields, who inked a two-year, $40 million deal this offseason, was expected to take over as the team’s starter. While the severity of the injury remains unclear, Glenn noted that it likely could have stemmed from another player stepping on his toe.
While it's certainly a relief that the injury doesn’t appear to be season-ending, having your starting quarterback suffer a potentially lingering issue to his lead foot on the very first day of practice is far from ideal.

The reaction from fans was swift and familiar: many once again labeled the Jets as “cursed,” pointing to the franchise’s long, painful history of hope unraveling early and often.
"Jets need some kind of voodoo magic or something to lift the curse," a fan said.
Someone else added, "Jets are cursed."
Another person wrote, "Damn the Jets are cursed bro!! What did their owners do!?"
"Who is going to be QB now if it is a bad injury? It’s like this every year for the Jets. Something bad always happening to them and it’s sad," a fan reacted.
"We are cursed bro," one more fan commented.
Mike Greenberg reacts live to reports of Justin Fields' injury: "I turn to others to speak on my behalf, because quite candidly, if I were to speak right now, I don't know how well that would go for anyone. The other quarterbacks currently on the Jets roster include veteran Tyrod Taylor, who brings ample starting experience, as well as Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook—neither of whom has started an NFL game.
