USC re-signs five more players for 2026 season
Wednesday saw a notable departure for USC, as All-American wide receiver Makai Lemon announced that he will be declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft. However, it was not all bad news for the Trojans, as USC also officially announced the "re-signing" of five more players for the 2026 season.
Who is else is now confirmed as coming back? Let's take a look at the Trojans' latest group of re-signees:
Tobias Raymond
Raymond has served as USC's starting left guard in 2025. He returns as a starter on an offensive line that should remain relatively intact for 2026.
Jahkeem Stewart
A highly-touted recruit in the 2025 cycle, Stewart finished his true freshman regular season with 18 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and an interception. He recently underwent foot surgery and will miss the Alamo Bowl against TCU, but should hopefully be fully healthy in time for the start of next season.
Chasen Johnson
Johnson arrived with high expectations as a cornerback transfer from UCF this past offseason, but suffered a knee injury against Purdue that ended his season. USC is hoping that Johnson will be able to return to the field and stay healthy in 2026.
Kendarius Reddick
As a true freshman safety in 2025, Reddick finished the regular season with six tackles. He will look to take on a bigger role next season with the departures of Bishop Fitzgerald and Kamari Ramsey.
Romero Ison
Ison has yet to catch a pass as a true freshman wide receiver this season. He will look to break into the rotation at the position next year.
