It's time to vote for the Buffalo Wild Wings Boys' Prep Athlete of the Week.

This week's poll features five players who helped kick off an exciting opening weekend of MHSAA football.

Voting will be open until noon Friday, Sept. 5.

Here are the nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name):

Michael Dukes, Detroit King

The senior running back and Rutgers commit led the Crusaders to a 32-7 victory over Toledo Whitmer during the team's season-opener on Friday, Aug. 29. Dukes had 208 all-purpose yards, rushing for 182 yards on 17 carries and four touchdowns.

Ahmad Evans, East Kentwood

Evans's 68-yard punt-return touchdown helped lead East Kentwood to a 43-8 victory over Southfield A&T on Friday. The senior receiver caught four receptions and recorded 158 receiving-yards along with three additional touchdowns.

Ben Klos, Allen Park

Klos' season debut at the 20th annual Prep Kickoff Classic lead the Jaguars' to a 47-27 victory over Trenton on Friday. The senior quarterback connected on 11 of his 14 passing attempts throwing for 228 yard and three touchdowns. He also rushed nine times for 41 yards and had two rushing touchdowns.

Lyuji Miki, Ann Arbor Skyline

The senior running back gave himself an early birthday present by setting the school's record for rushing touchdowns during Friday's 64-0 win against Dearborn Heights Annapolis. Miki, who celebrated his 18th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 30, rushed for 176 yards on 11 carries and six touchdowns.

Donovan Triplett, Walled Lake Western

The Western Michigan commit had a strong performance to start off his final season leading the Warriors to a 51-26 win over Milford on Thursday, Aug. 28. Triplett had 234 rushing-yards on 25 carries and had five touchdowns in the game.
