Want Paycor Stadium at home? Bengals fans can now buy stadium's furniture
Bengals fans can now easily make their homes look like a Paycor Stadium suite.
Furniture and other items from Paycor Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals, are available for sale in a live auction that will take place on Saturday, Feb. 14. Pre-bidding is already open.
Do you want a wooden table with the tiger-face logo? How about barstools with the alternate full-body tiger logo? Or maybe even some leather fold-down stadium seats? Well, you can get them.
The sale comes after Paycor Stadium completed major renovations to its luxury suites. And now, "everything must go," the auction site reads.
Interested buyers can visit the auction's website to see the full list of items up for sale.
The cost of items ranges widely. Bids on some items, such as drain boards and bar sinks, are currently less than $10. Bids on sets of stadium seats are currently less than $100. The Bengals-themed furniture is more expensive, with bids on tables and sets of chairs in the hundreds of dollars.
The auction is drawing attention from all over. Grant Nicodemus, owner of the Nicodemus Auction Company, which is running the auction, told The Enquirer he's received calls from interested buyers in other parts of the country and even from Italy.
"We've had global attention," he said.
How does the auction work?
The live auction will take place on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. online and in-person. For those interested in participating online, visit www.proxibid.com/Nicodemus-Auction-Company/Paycor-Stadium-Suites-Liquidation-Auction/event-catalog/292261. During the live auction, the site will feature live audio to allow online bidders to hear the auctioneer and those bidding in-person.
For those interested in participating in person, meet at the parking garage of the Hamilton County Job & Family Services building, at 1701 Patricia McCollum Way in Bond Hill.
Can't participate in the live auction? Don't sweat. Interested buyers can currently place bids online in the "pre-bidding" process. The process allows interested buyers to enter a maximum bid into the auction system, which will be stored for the live auction. The "computer will bid on their behalf so they don't miss out on any of the action," Nicodemus said.
According to the auction's terms of sale, all items must be paid for on the day of the auction, and an 18% buyers premium will be added to the final bid. Visit the auction's website for more information on payment options.
How to pick up purchased items
The auction will end when the last item is sold, Nicodemus said. All items must be picked up by Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. from the Hamilton County Job & Family Services building, located at 1701 Patricia McCollum Way in Bond Hill. Nicodemus asked buyers to call him ahead of picking up their items, even if its duing the hours for pickup. He can be reached at 937-631-8244.
