Washington Commanders Roster Moves: Drake Jackson’s 21-day practice window opened
The Washington Commanders announced they have opened the 21-day practice window for DE Drake Jackson. He was signed on October 15, 2025, and was placed on injured reserve the next day. He is returning from a patellar tendon injury in 2023 that required surgery and cause him miss the entire season last year.
Jackson was drafted in the second round in 2022 by the San Francisco 49ers. The former USC defensive end is coming to the right place if he wants an opportunity to get some playing time. The Commanders have already placed three DEa on injured reserve including Week 1 starters Deatrich Wise and Dorance Armstrong.
Jackson now has three weeks to practice with the team and get activated to play during the last part of a disappointing season.
