WATCH: Kevin Austin Jr. catches the first touchdown pass of his career
And just like that, the New Orleans Saints took the lead for the first time all afternoon on a perfectly placed 10-yard touchdown floater from Tyler Shough to Kevin Austin Jr. It ended up being a game-winning touchdown pass in their 34-26 rally against the Tennessee Titans.
The drive was set up by a 63-yard strike to Chris Olave, flipping the field and putting New Orleans inside the 10-yard line. Two plays later, on second-and-goal, Shough lofted a touch pass on a bench route against man coverage, allowing Austin Jr. to secure the touchdown -- his first of his NFL career.
The Shough-to-Austin connection capped a lightning-quick, four-play, 80-yard drive and gave the Saints a 27–26 lead late in the fourth quarter, completing a stunning momentum swing when it mattered most.
