Watch: Kyren Williams scores Rams' 1st touchdown of season for 3rd straight year

For the third year in a row, Kyren Williams is the Los Angeles Rams’ first player to find the end zone. He scored the team’s opening touchdown in Week 1 against the Houston Texans, a 1-yard run on fourth down.

The score put the Rams up 7-6 after the PAT, giving them their first lead of the game. It was Williams’ ninth carry of the first half, giving him 31 yards and a touchdown.

Rather than running it right up the middle, Sean McVay drew up a play where Matthew Stafford pitched it outside to Williams, who broke a tackle and got into the end zone thanks to some good blocking on the edge by Puka Nacua.
