WATCH: Ozzy Trapilo gets the draft call from Bears

The Chicago Bears did not stop adding to their offensive line this offseason, using one of their three second-round picks to select offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo with the 56th overall pick.

Trapilo is a Boston College alum, as is general manager Ryan Poles, and the two shared that moment when he made the call to inform Trapilo that he would be the newest member of the Bears.

Alongside Poles to welcome Trapilo was head coach Ben Johnson, team president/CEO Kevin Warren, and offensive line coach Dan Roushar, all of whom shared in the excitement of adding the offensive tackle. Trapilo is 6'8", 316 pounds, and projects to bring competition to the left tackle position.

Watch the moment in which the Bears front office welcomed Trapilo to the organization as a second round pick.

The addition of Trapilo is just another one in several moves that the team has made to improve their offensive line, adding Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson in offseason trades, and signing center Drew Dalman in free agency. There will be competition at the left tackle position with Trapilo, veteran Braxton Jones, and last year's third-round pick, Kiran Amegadjie.
