Watch: touchdowns by Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Zach Charbonnet give Seahawks the lead
The Seattle Seahawks did not accomplish much of anything in the first half, but they did capture some much-needed momentum to close out the second quarter.
One of the most lethal quarterback-to-wide receiver combos in the NFL this season is that of Sam Darnold to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. These two have a cerebral connection, and we saw it on display once more. With only six seconds left in the half, Darnold found JSN in the end zone with an absolute laser beam of a strike.
The Seahawks are on the board thanks to this laser beam from Sam Darnold to JSN. Seattle trails Tampa Bay 13-7 with 0:06 left in the first half.

The momentum Seattle earned carried over to their opening drive of the third quarter. The Seahawks only needed four plays to march 77 yards in order to retake the lead. A 36-yard reception to Dareke Young, a 31-yard rush by Kenneth Walker III, and a five-yard touchdown dive by Zach Charbonnet were the highlights, as Seattle took their first lead of the afternoon.
