Where is Louisville basketball ranked in the top-25 polls entering ACC play?

Pat Kelsey's Cardinals (10-2) moved up a spot, from 14th into a tie with Nebraska for 13th, in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released Monday. There was no updated AP Top 25 this week, so UofL will remain at 16th there until Jan. 5.

The top four of the Coaches Poll remained unchanged from last week: No. 1 Michigan, No. 2 Arizona, No. 3 Iowa State and No. 4 UConn. Duke passed Purdue for the No. 5 spot. Gonzaga, Houston, Michigan State and BYU rounded out the top 10.

Louisville closes out the 2025 portion of its schedule with a 9 p.m. tipoff Tuesday at California (12-1), which received two votes in this week's Coaches Poll. Conference play continues with an 8 p.m. tipoff Friday at Stanford, which hosts Notre Dame on Tuesday to kick off its league slate.

Kelsey said Monday that two guards who missed the Cards' final game before Christmas break due to injuries, Mikel Brown Jr. and Kobe Rodgers, were full participants in practice Sunday.

The ACC had four teams in the last Coaches Poll before the start of conference play: Duke, No. 12 North Carolina, Louisville and No. 21 Virginia.
