Younghoe Koo ruled out vs. Vikings, Kicker Parker Romo to start

In somewhat of a surprise move, the Falcons announced that kicker Younghoe Koo is out for Sunday's game. The move is not injury related, but Koo did not make the trip with the team. Practice squad kicker Parker Romo will kick in Koo's place on Sunday night. The Falcons may simply be looking to try out Romo without cutting Koo from the roster. We'll see how Romo performs against his former team. Atlanta also placed safety Jordan Fuller on the injured reserve list and signed David Sills V to the 53-man roster.

Darnell Mooney injury status vs. Vikings

Mooney was a full participant at Friday's practice and is expected to make his 2025 NFL season debut against the Vikings on Sunday. The veteran wideout was absent for most of training camp with a shoulder injury. Last season, Mooney finished just shy of 1,000 receiving yards and figures to be a key factor in Week 2.

Drake London injury status vs. Vikings

London exited Week 1 with a shoulder injury after what initially looked like a touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. The fourth-year receiver did not return to the game, but he's good to go for Sunday night's game in Minnesota. London was a full participant at Friday's practice and wasn't given an injury designation for Week 2.

James Pearce Jr. injury status vs. Vikings

Falcons first-round pick James Pearce Jr. has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game. The rookie recorded four quarterback pressures in Week 1 so his absence would be a big loss for Atlanta, especially with Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw ruled out. The Falcons also listed starting nickel Billy Bowman Jr. as questionable for Week 2.

Falcons Week 2 uniforms: White

The Falcons will wear their white road uniforms against the Vikings on Sunday night. If the below tweet is any indiacation, the team will wear its white pants as well in Week 2.
