Who is Sam Hoiberg?

Hoiberg is a senior guard for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He is 23 years old and was born on March 21, 2003, in Lincoln, Neb. His father, Fred, has been the Cornhuskers' coach since 2019.

His son is currently playing the best season of his collegiate career and has helped lead Nebraska to its first Sweet Sixteen in school history. Hoiberg has started every game this season for the Cornhuskers.

His twin brother, Charlie, is also part of the team as a graduate manager.
