Will Mark Williams' foot keep him out for entire playoff series for Suns?

The Phoenix Suns are fighting an uphill battle. Against the reigning NBA champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the No. 8-seeded Suns have no real margin for error if they even want a chance at the upset, let alone to appear competitive.

Unless starting center Mark Williams comes back sometime soon, that reality doesn't seem remotely possible. Phoenix is already pretty undersized in general, and that's with Williams in the lineup.

Williams is officially listed as questionable with a foot injury for Wednesday night's Game 2 in Oklahoma City. The concerning thing is that Williams has had lingering foot problems for much of his career. This season was the first time in his four-year career that he appeared in at least 60 games. A walking boot spotted at Wednesday's shootaround will probably not inspire much optimism that his return is imminent:

Oof. With or without Williams, the Suns are hoping for a better effort in Game 2. They were down 65-44 at halftime of Game 1 and wound up losing 119-84 in a game that didn't even seem that close.
