WWE makes its much-anticipated debut on ESPN this Saturday night with Wrestlepalooza. The card inside the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN kicks off at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT and features a stacked card.

To open the event, WWE legends John Cena and Brock Lesnar will rekindle their years-long rivalry with a bitter grudge match. Women’s division great AJ Lee will make her return after 10 years away in a mixed tag match with her husband CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes will defend the WWE Undisputed title against Drew McIntyre in the night’s main event.

John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar

Much like their match at SummerSlam over a decade ago, Lesnar, for the most part, dominated Cena. While the WWE icon hit three straight Attitude Adjustments, it wasn’t enough. “The Beast” hit a bunch of F-5s in response and decimated Cena in a fairly short matchup.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed)

Before Wrestlepalooza, LA Knight was a late addition to the match as a special referee. However, even with him being a part of the bout, it was an average matchup. There were certainly some fun high-impact moments, and Knight allowing tables and chairs into the match, but the Usos and Vision don’t have a ton of chemistry together. It was evident in the match, and one peculiar lowlight was when it seemed like Jey Uso accidentally hit himself with a chair and got cut open.

Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer – Women’s World Championship

As any fan who pays attentions would expect, Sky and Vaquer had a very good match that will likely go down as the match of the night at Wrestlepalooza. They showcased their athleticism, and there high level technical skills. In a back and forth match that Sky seemed close to winning, the Chilean superstar was able to pull out a massive career defining victory over the two-time champion, and it was a clean.

AJ Lee and CM Punk vs. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins

Punk and Lee vs. Rollins and Lynch was by no means a barnburner. But while the technical elements weren’t always great, it was still an entertaining match, and all involved did a great job of building toward Lee getting her first real ring action in a decade. The fans in Indy had a good time, especially because the heroes got the W.
