2025 NBA draft lottery: OKC Thunder misses out on lottery pick as Sixers get No. 3 pick

The 2025 NBA draft lottery results have been revealed. Despite being in Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder had an interest in the results. They owned the Philadelphia 76ers' top-six protected pick.
Well, things didn't go as planned. The Sixers jumped up to the No. 3 spot. The Dallas Mavericks won the No. 1 spot to add Cooper Flagg. The San Antonio Spurs also received some lottery luck and finished in the No. 3 spot.
The Thunder will return to reality after fantasizing for months about the chances to add the No. 7 selection. They will enter the 2025 NBA draft with the No. 15 pick from the Miami Heat and the No. 24 pick from the LA Clippers. They will also have the No. 44 pick from the Atlanta Hawks.
