2026 NFL draft: Lance Zierlein mock sees Round 1 trade for the Bills

The Buffalo Bills make a trade in the latest 2026 NFL draft mock found on NFL.com.

Draft analyst Lance Zierlein predicts the Bills could make a Round 1 trade during the event this April.

Considering Brandon Beane is still at the helm as general manager? It's not all that shocking of an idea. However, with the Bills holding the No. 26 selection, the trade direction plan Buffalo goes might disappoint some.

In the deal, the Bills move their first rounder to the Arizona Cardinals. While the full draft pick compensation received in the mock trade is not laid out, one could assume the Bills potentially earn at least the Cardinals' Round 2 pick (No.34 overall) and potentially their third rounder (No. 65).

Such a trade would then give the Bills three selections in the top-three rounds of the draft, instead of just two. Buffalo only holds the No. 26 and No. 91 in Round 3.

Zierlein's full breakdown of the Bills and draft trade can be found below:

Arizona trading back into the first round to take Alabama's Ty Simpson has become popular among mock drafts, but my guess is the Cards make the jump for the ascending right tackle. Buffalo brings in some much-needed draft capital in the move out of Round 1.
