2026 NFL draft: Updated running back tier list

The College Football Playoff is in full swing, and the NFL playoffs are just a week away. So to kick off 2026, we are putting out our initial tier lists for each position in the 2026 NFL draft. This time around, we have the running backs. We have seen a renaissance at the running back position in the NFL, which automatically places a higher value on some of these college backs when they fit a particular system. We currently have 13 running backs with draftable grades.

First round

Sixth round

Terion Stewart - Virginia Tech

Darius Taylor - Minnesota

Seventh round

Le’Veon Moss - Texas A&M

Quintrevion Wisner - Texas
