Tyler Fay struggles on Friday, surrenders four earned runs
Fay has been excellent on the mound throughout the second half of the 2026 campaign. The star pitcher struggled against Oklahoma though compared to recent starts, as Fay surrendered four earned runs on six hits in six innings pitched vs. the Sooners on Thursday evening.
Alabama ultimately won the game by a final score of 10-7, but Fay struggled on the mound for the first time in well over a month against Oklahoma during the weekend.
Brady Neal stays red hot at the plate, goes 4-for-4 on Thursday
Neal continues to cement himself as a top outfielder in all of college baseball this season. The star senior went 4-for-4 during Thursday’s victory over Oklahoma, as Neal has been excellent throughout SEC play this year.
The outfielder currently holds a team high .367 batting average on the season, as Neal continues to perform at an elite level for the Tide in 2026.
Alabama pitching allows just 2 runs on Saturday
The Alabama pitching staff as a whole was excellent against the Sooners on Saturday afternoon. The Tide allowed just two earned runs on seven total hits during Saturday’s series clinching victory, as Alabama’s pitchers continue to shine following a slow start to begin the 2026 campaign.
The pitching staff ultimately played a crucial role in Alabama’s series win over Oklahoma, as the Tide flamethrowers’ continue to step it up throughout the second half of the season.
Alabama currently holds a 25-8 record on the year, as the Tide will look to keep things rolling against Samford on Tuesday evening.
