49ers Week 10 injury report has status updates on QB, WR and 6 other players

The San Francisco 49ers will enter another game against the Los Angeles Rams facing a number of major injury question marks.

After beating the Rams with a shorthanded club in Week 5, head coach Kyle Shanahan's group may have to do the same again at Levi's Stadium in Week 10.

Shanahan after Friday's practice rattled off an injury report that features eight players, including wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and quarterback Brock Purdy who both maintained their statuses from the last couple of weeks. Pearsall is out while he deals with the knee injury that has hampered him since Week 4. He did not practice at all in the lead up to Week 10. As for Purdy, he was a limited participant in practice all week and he is officially questionable for Sunday's game.

Mac Jones will start again according to Shanahan and the decision whether to have Purdy suit up as an emergency third QB won't be made until Saturday or Sunday. Shanahan did note that Purdy is "further along this week than last week."

A slew of defenders are also on the injury report, meaning San Francisco's already shorthanded unit may be in dire straits for a big division showdown with their NFC West rival.

Here's the full injury report:
