Anthony Davis goes to locker room with injury in Mavericks-Warriors game

Anthony Davis exited the Dallas Mavericks'Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors with an apparent injury.

The Mavericks were moving upcourt when the ball flew in Davis' direction. But Davis, out in front of the Golden State defense, wasn't looking. Instead, he headed straight towards the Dallas bench and appeared to be in discomfort.

He was immediately subbed out after the turnover and was seen on the broadcast trying to stretch on the bench. According to Grant Afseth, a reporter on the scene, Davis received treatment on the bench throughout a timeout before heading back to the locker room.

There was no immediate word about Davis' status.

Davis had 3 points on 1-for-4 shooting with 3 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal in 11 minutes before exiting. The Warriors led 71-58 at halftime.
