Cougs add two transfers
For a second time in as many years on the job, Washington State men's basketball coach David Riley has to replace his entire starting lineup.
The Cougars have added two transfers within the past week to help him do just that. On Friday, WSU announced the addition of Morehead State point guard Jerone Morton and on Monday, they added Boise State forward Emmanuel Ugbo
Morton is a junior guard from Winchester, Kentucky, who played 52 games for Morehead State. He averaged 10.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game and started 20 games. Morton led his team with 89 assists at 3.4 per game.
Ugbo is a 6-8 forward who racked up 3.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game with an average of 10 minutes on the floor. Before playing college basketball, the Dutchman, born in the Netherlands to Nigerian immigrants, began his career in Europe and appeared in 23 games for Porsche BBA, a professional team in Ludwigsburg, Germany. He also spent time with the Dutch National Team.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL

The Washington State football program's first spring transfer portal addition comes from eight miles east in Idaho's 6-foot-6-inch, 312-pound offensive tackle Sone Falealo, who played his high school ball in Anchorage, Alaska. Falealo comes to Pullman with four years of eligibility.
