Arsenal star Ben White shares injury update on social media after scare vs Wigan Athletic

Arsenal star Ben White has taken to social media platform Instagram to share an injury update after he was taken off against Wigan Athletic at Emirates Stadium earlier today. The Gunners defender appeared to have injured his left hamstring and was withdrawn, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta claiming he was a doubt for the league game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday. However, it appears White feels very good and will be ready to play during the week after posting this two-word update a few minutes ago.

It would be a huge boost for Arsenal if the Englishman has indeed avoided a serious knock. The North London club lost Riccardo Calafiori to an injury which kept him out of the FA Cup game today and cannot afford being without another defender heading into the derby next Sunday. The Gunners travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on their city rivals after their trip to Wolves and could do with White available for the match.
