Do the Auburn Tigers play in week six of the college football season?

Auburn football will not play in week six of the college football season, and will enjoy a much-needed bye week to rest and work on themselves at practice after dropping two SEC contests in a row to move their record to 3-2 on the season.

Auburn won its first three games of the season, which include a quality nonconference win over Baylor. However, they have not fared well in their last two games against SEC foes, losing to No. 10 Oklahoma and No. 5 Texas A&M by a combined 13 points. The Auburn offense has shown signs of struggle in recent weeks, it is most evident in Jackson Arnold's sack total. Over the last two games, the Auburn quarterback has been sacked 14 times, including nine times in Auburn's loss to Oklahoma. Another key stat of note is Auburn's offense performance in the 4th quarter of last week's loss to Texas A&M, where it gained just one yard of offense.

Next week, the Tigers return to action for a night game at Jordan-Hare Stadium against No. 10 Georgia. Kickoff will be in the nighttime slot on either ESPN, ABC, or SEC Network.
