Browns NFL Draft order 2026: Where Cleveland stands after Week 15

The Cleveland Browns went into Week 15 with the hope that QB Shedeur Sanders could build on his great Week 14 performance, DE Myles Garrett could continue his chase of the NFL’s single-season sack record, and with their 2026 NFL draft order rooting interest in a number of games. Instead, the Browns offense struggled with Sanders, Garrett “only” got 1.5 sacks, and Cleveland didn’t get much NFL draft positioning help while getting destroyed by the Chicago Bears.
Browns fans have a lot of thoughts about Sanders’ performance, but all that matters is how the organization sees him, especially if they are in a position to select a quarterback high in this year’s draft.
With all three teams in front of them in the 2026 NFL draft order, Cleveland remained with the fourth overall position heading into Week 16. With the Jacksonville Jaguars continuing their winning ways, running their record to 10-4, the Browns second first-round pick is likely to be decided by how the NFL playoffs play out.

Cleveland finishes their schedule with two teams currently locked into NFL playoff spots (Bills, Steelers) and the four-win Bengals. The increased Strength of Schedule based on those three games could impact NFL draft order tiebreakers.
The Giants and Raiders play each other in Week 17, while the Titans and Saints matchup that week as well. Las Vegas and Tennessee also play Kansas City, who are out of the playoffs and will be without QB Patrick Mahomes, after a concerning knee injury at the end of their Week 15 contest.
Given all the variables, the Browns could end up with the top overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft if they lose out in their last three games this year.
