Coming into the 2026 NFL Draft, there is a ton of buzz about the Cleveland Browns potentially trading out of the No. 6 overall pick.

But if the Browns end up sticking and picking, there are a lot of possibilities they could go with. Wide receiver Carnell Tate is one player to watch, but with a major need along the offensive line still, the Browns are a team to watch for an OL.

ESPN's Matt Miller shared a prediction from an NFC East scout that agrees, as they predict Cleveland to go with an in Miami's 6-foot-6 offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa.

"This was a tough selection," this NFC East scout said. "... You're tempted to go 'best player available' when a roster needs that much help, but Mauigoa is the top tackle in the draft and immediately solves the right tackle spot."

The Browns going with an offensive lineman with the No. 6 pick would not be a surprise at all. They need help at offensive tackle and wide receiver the most this year, and OT might be harder to find down the board.

WR should have some intriguing names still on the board with the 24th pick, while there might be an offensive tackle run that takes the top options off the board.

Mauigoa is one of the top linemen in this year's class, and is a premier right tackle in this year's class. While the Browns made a big move for trade for Tytus Howard and offered him a big deal, the Browns could still go Maiugoa with the sixth pick.

Howard or Mauigoa could move to the left side, and Howard could move to the interior of the OL as he did for the Houston Texans.

Regardless of how the Browns would make it work, this NFC East scout is predicting Cleveland will use their No. 6 pick on Mauigoa to beef up their offensive line with an experienced starter who will be an instant upgrade along the OL.
