Browns star Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah returns for pregame festivities

One of the Cleveland Browns' most missed players returned to the stadium to kick off their Week 14 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

Star linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah walked onto the grass at Huntington Bank Field to smash the ceremonial guitar, which marks the start of every Browns' home game. Owusu-Koramoah walked out of the tunnel to the sound of applause.

He hasn't taken the field since suffering a neck injury against the Baltimore Ravens in week 8 of the 2024 season. The Browns placed Owusu-Koramoah on the physically unable to perform list at the start of the season. Watch Owusu-Koramoah smash the guitar to start the Browns' battle against the Tennessee Titans.

Browns fans are anxiously awaiting Owusu-Koramoah's return. The linebacker was an exceptional talent. His athleticism and fearlessness helped set the tone for the linebacker room. Rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger has carried that mantle into this season. Browns fans are excited about the prospects of the top two linebackers playing together in 2026. Both Owusu-Koramoah and the Browns have kept much of the mystery around his injury and rehab.

The vagueness between both parties is probably not a good sign for Owusu-Koramoah's return to the football field. However, there's always hope. Owusu-Koramoah is one of my favorite players of all time. It's good to see him in the stadium, even if it's just in a ceremony to start the game.
