Buffaloes open as underdogs to West Virginia
When the Buffaloes head to Morgantown, West Virginia, for an early morning battle with the WVU Mountaineers this Saturday, the brass in Las Vegas doesn’t have a lot of faith in them.
The line has been released for CU vs. WVU, and it isn’t pretty. Fanduel has Colorado listed as 6.5-point underdogs to the Mountaineers, with CU moneyline listed as +184.
It’s hard to blame the bookies for betting against the Buffs, as they’ve been outscored 105-24 in blowout losses during their last two games. On the other hand, West Virginia looks to have bounced back. Despite a tough start to their season, the Mountaineers picked up their first win in Big 12 play against the 22nd-ranked Houston Cougars last Saturday.
Saturday will be a battle between two freshman quarterbacks, CU’s Julian Lewis and WVU’s Scotty Fox Jr., so make sure to tune in at 10:00 a.m. MT to watch and see how things unfold.
