Bundesliga Team of the Week – Matchday 25

Defenders:

Konrad Laimer, FC Bayern

Energetic as ever on the right side, Laimer scored a well-taken goal and completed 95% of his passes, including two key passes.

Luka Vuskovic, Hamburger SV

The young defender produced another outstanding performance, winning all 12 of his duels, earning two penalties and converting the first himself.

Danny da Costa, Mainz

Playing as a centre-back in a three-man backline, da Costa scored and assisted while winning six of his seven duels.

Olivier Deman, Werder Bremen

Deman won six duels and got on the scoresheet in Werder Bremen’s victory over Union Berlin.

Midfielders:

Jens Stage, Werder Bremen

Stage both scored and assisted while providing four key passes as Bremen crushed Union Berlin 4-1.

Leon Goretzka, FC Bayern

Created Bayern’s opener with a clever chipped pass. Completed 95 passes, used his physicality effectively, and posed a significant goal threat.

Luca Kerber, Heidenheim

Scored two impressive goals from midfield against Hoffenheim, though it wasn’t enough as Heidenheim fell 2-4.

Strikers:

Luis Diaz, FC Bayern

Stepped up in the absence of Harry Kane, scoring once and providing an assist.

Christian Kofane, Bayer Leverkusen

Both scored and assisted as Leverkusen played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Freiburg.

Alexander Prass, Hoffenheim

Bagged a brace to lead Hoffenheim to victory over Heidenheim while also completing all of his three dribbles.
