Carabao Cup: Newcastle knock out Bradford and advance to the fourth round
Newcastle United booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a commanding 4-1 victory over Bradford City on Wednesday night.
The Magpies seized the early initiative thanks to Joelinton (17'), before William Osula doubled the lead before halftime. After the break, Joelinton secured his brace (75'), but Andy Cook pulled one back for Bradford (79').

In the closing stages, Osula netted his second of the night (87'), putting the result beyond doubt and sealing a comprehensive win for Newcastle. Thanks to this triumph, Newcastle continue their journey in the English League Cup.
