Clutch postseason efforts highlight Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week Poll for May 19-24

Clutch tournament efforts from walk-off wins on the diamond, to new school record performances on the track from Tuscarawas-area student-athletes in baseball, softball and track and field continued this week as the OHSAA postseason is coming down to the end.

Cast your vote for the top performances from local student-athletes during the week of May 19-24 action from which to choose in the Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week polls for boys and girls sports.

High school sports fans can vote in two polls this week to pick their top performance. The polls run until noon Thursday. 

Nominations for Athlete of the Week can be sent to sports@timesreporter.com by noon Sunday. Please include the athlete's name, school and sport and a little about their accomplishment that week.

Winners will be announced on The Times-Reporter website. You can see the full list of spring winners so far below this week's polls.

Apr. 7-12: Bo Black, Newcomerstown baseball and Kara Lint, Dover softball

Apr. 21-26: Caden Dugan, Strasburg baseball and Elah Davis, Claymont track

Apr. 28-May 3: Ethan Fair, Claymont baseball and Cameron Kuder, Samantha Kuder, Avilyn Hoover and Molly Seevers, Newcomerstown track

May 5-10: Matt Shreiner, Dover baseball and Ellie Mason, New Philadelphia softball
