Colts make 2 practice squad signings, release 2 other players

The Indianapolis Colts made several practice squad moves on Tuesday.

As we've seen under GM Chris Ballard, he is constantly churning the back end of the roster.

The team announced that they have signed defensive back Keydrain Calligan, along with safety Darrick Forrest, to the practice squad. In order to make room for these additions, Indianapolis released center Mose Vavao and safety Trey Washington.

Both Vavao and Washington went undrafted this past April and spent training camp on the Colts' roster. They each were released during roster cutdowns and then signed to the practice squad.

Calligan went undrafted this year out of Southeastern Louisiana. He originally signed with Houston but spent training camp with Seattle.

Forrest is a former fifth-round pick by Washington and has appeared in 40 career games, including 17 starts.
