Dabo Swinney reveals Clemson’s 2026 early enrollees

Clemson wrapped up its 2026 high school recruiting cycle on Wednesday by securing all 20 signees, giving the program a noticeable rise in the national rankings. The Tigers finished at No. 19 in the 247 Composite, a clear step up from last year’s positioning. The class also picked up a quiet late boost in the afternoon when in-state defensive end Michael Foster flipped from ECU and added his name to the group, though Clemson has not yet shared whether he’ll arrive early or in the summer.

The makeup of the class leans toward offense, with 12 newcomers joining that unit and six of them strengthening the offensive line. Seven players are slated for the defensive side of the ball, and the Tigers rounded out the class with a long snapper.

Dabo Swinney noted on signing day that Clemson will get an early look at a large portion of the class, as 15 players are set to enroll in January. Both quarterbacks fall into that category, along with several of the team’s highest-rated signees.

The early-enrollee group includes four-star quarterback Tait Reynolds, three-star quarterback Brock Bradley, wide receivers Naeem Burroughs, Gordon Sellers and Connor Salmin, offensive linemen Leo Delaney, Carter Scrugs, Grant Wise, Chance Barclay and Braden Wilmes, defensive tackle Kam Cody, cornerbacks Marcell Gipson and Shavar Young Jr., safety Kentavion Anderson and long snapper Jackson Reach.

The summer group consists of four-star tight end Tayveon Wilson, four-star offensive lineman Adam Guthrie, three-star defensive end JR Hardrick and four-star linebacker Brayden Reilly.
