Eagles' big board: 8 prospects who fit Philadelphia's drafting philosophy

The Eagles have revamped their offensive coaching staff, and with the new league year fast approaching, the team will sign free agents and look to extend the contracts of Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and others. Amid those projects, is Philadelphia preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft and could revert to building its roster through the trenches?

The Eagles have used picks on cornerbacks, linebackers, defensive tackles, and multiple other positions outside of the trenches, but that should change this April. Over the past three years, Philadelphia has used early draft capital on other key positions and hasn't drafted an offensive lineman in the first two rounds since Cam Jurgens in 2022.

Philadelphia has a certain player prototype, preferring athletic prospects with big-game experience and leadership. Every player drafted in 2025 had spent three years in school or had served as a captain.

Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State:

A 6-foot-2 playmaker, Tyson is A big, physical pass catcher who missed games in all four of his years at Arizona State, including missing 3 games with a hamstring injury in 2025. Last season, he still totaled 61 catches for 711 yards and eight touchdowns. The previous year, he keyed Arizona State's run to the College Football Playoffs with 75 catches, for 1,101 yards and 10 scores while averaging 14.7 yards per catch.

Olaivavega Ioane, OG, Penn State:

Ioane plays with intense power and quickness, using 330 pounds of elite force, earning second-team All-America honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation as an offensive guard. Ioane is the 158th Nittany Lion (192nd selection) to be named an All-American by an NCAA-recognized outlet (AFCA, Associated Press, FWAA, The Sporting News, Walter Camp Football Foundation). Ioane was selected to the All-Big Ten Second Team in 2024 and to the Honorable Mention Team in 2023. He'll exit State College having played in 44 games and made 32 starts at Penn State. According to PFF, he allowed zero sacks and three pressures in 310 pass blocking snaps in 2025.

Kadyn Proctor, Alabama:

The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder is a huge physical specimen, but athletic enough to run routes and catch passes for the Crimson Tide.

Blake Miller, Clemson:

Daniel Jeremiah projected Miller to land with the Eagles at No. 23 in his most recent mock draft. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder was a four-year starter at Clemson, and followed a Freshman All-American season with three straight All-ACC selections. Miller set the Clemson records for career offensive snaps (3,778) and consecutive starts by a non-specialist (54). while starting every game of his collegiate career from 2022-25. Miller finished his career as one of only two Clemson offensive tackles since 1986 to have multiple seasons of 950+ snaps.

Max Iheanachor, Arizona State:

The 6-foot-6, 330-pounder has elite body control, footwork, and athleticism.

Max Klare, TE, Ohio State

Over the last two years, the 6-5, 243-pound tight end has caught 94 passes for 1,173 yards and six touchdowns as an explosive vertical threat.

Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana

A big physical presence at 6-0, 204 pounds, Cooper, Jr. played primarily in the slot during Indiana's 16-0 run to the national title. Cooper, Jr. had his most productive year, catching 69 passes for 937 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had one season of eligibility remaining.

Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

Terrell, an Atlanta native, is the younger brother of Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell, who also attended Clemson and was a first-round NFL Draft pick in 2020. Terrell finished the 2025 season with a team-high five forced fumbles and 11 pass-breakups. During his three years at Clemson, Terrell accounted for 125 total tackles, 25 passes defended, four sacks, eight forced fumbles, and three interceptions.

Denzel Boston, Washington:

The second coming of Alshon Jeffery, Boston could be a player to watch if the Eagles trade Brown for a first-round pick. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Boston hauled in 76.9% of his contested targets at Washington last year.

Wild Card: Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia

A raw player who's still developing, Freeling is an intriguing prospect offering elite size and athleticism for the right tackle spot. Freeling is a 6'7", 315-pound offensive tackle prospect who turns 22 years old in July. The former Bulldog finished his career with 16 career starts at left tackle, including 12 in 2025 in his lone season as a full-time starter.
