Falcons defeat Vikings: Watch highlights from Week 2

Just like they did in 2024, the Falcons got their first win of the season in prime time. While it wasn't a game that featured a ton of big plays on offense, Atlanta's 22-6 road victory over the Minnesota Vikings was full of defensive highlights
The game's only touchdown was scored deep into the fourth quarter after the Vikings allowed Atlanta into the end zone to get more time to mount a comeback. The Falcons defense recorded six sacks, forced four turnovers and did not allow a touchdown.
Offensively, the Falcons rushed for over 200 yards on the ground. Bijan Robinson finished with 143 rushing yards on 22 carries. The passing game didn't do a ton, but kicker Parker Romo converted all five of his field goal attempts to secure the win.
The biggest story of the game was the impact of Atlanta's rookie draft class. James Pearce Jr., Jalon Walker, Xavier Watts and Billy Bowman Jr. each made an impact in Week 2. Walker and Pearce had sacks while Watts and Bowman recorded their first career interceptions.
