It's been a crazy day in the NFL with the trade deadline looming just a few hours away, and a former Alabama Crimson Tide star saw his name involved in all of the chaos.

Former Alabama star Quinnen Williams is reportedly being traded from the New York Jets to the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reports. The Cowboys are sending a first-round pick and more to the Jets in return for the three-time Pro Bowler and First-Team All-Pro in 2022.

In his seven years with the Jets, Williams, a former No. 3 overall draft pick, became a dominant force in the trenches, racking up 40 sacks and 322 total tackles in the Big Apple. In his two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Williams had 10 sacks and 26 tackles for loss, winning a national championship in 2017.

With the Cowboys, Williams will fill a critical need on the defensive line, especially after Dallas traded away Micah Parsons earlier this season. This is the second big trade that the Jets made on Tuesday, also shipping star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts.
